YG Entertainment‘s rookie kpop group ‘TREASURE’ will host their first global fan meeting.
According to YG, on August 23rd, the group will host ‘TREASURE 1ST Private Stage – TEU-Day’ at the Olympic Hall in Bangi-dong, Seoul, on October 2nd at 4 pm.
‘Private Stage’ is YG’s fan meeting brand. They will host the fan meeting both offline and online at the same time.
The pronunciation of the first letter of ‘TODAY,’ which means ‘today,’ the fan meeting title, is a combination of the English name ‘TEUME’ of the fan club ‘Treasure Maker.’
YG introduced, “It symbolizes the moment TREASURE and Treasure Maker meet for the first time.”
Online tickets will be available at Weverse Shop from 2 pm on September 1. For offline tickets, only Treasure Makers with membership on Weverse will be given the opportunity to pre-order from 8 pm to 10 pm on September 8th.
They may cancel the offline performances following social distancing guidelines according to the spread of COVID-19.
Kpop group TREASURE debuted in August of last year and released ‘THE FIRST STEP’ series albums one after another. They sold a total of more than 1 million copies. After winning the rookie award at major award ceremonies in Korea, they also won five major weekly album charts in Japan. It includes Oricon, Line Music, and Billboard Japan, with their first Japanese album, ‘The First Step: Treasure Effect.”
